 The Cedar House

 Holiday Home

Whangaroa Harbour, “ A Singular and Beautifully Romantic Place” *

 The Cedar House

This lovely home reflects the builder’s respect for the unique location, with the home merging seamlessly with the majestic natural beauty of the sub-tropical Mangonui Forest and Ranfurly Scenic Reserves.

Perched on a sunny ridge overlooking the beautiful deep sea Whangaroa harbour, carefully and sympathetically sited this “tree top home” is blissfully peaceful and perfectly private, with a view from every room.   Hidden away, off the Department of Conservation’s Wairakau Stream walking track, The Cedar House, is seductively secluded but surprisingly, not isolated.

Our central location, half way between Kerikeri and the Bay of Islands to the south and Kaitia and Cape Reinga in the far north makes the Cedar House the perfect base for exploring, Easy day trips can take you to all the attractions.
